Olivia at 7 months

Olivia is growing up so fast! She started sitting up on her own a few weeks ago. She's not crawling yet but she can make her way across the room by rolling! She LOVES other children and will start laughing and shrieking when they interact with her (which I've noticed most children do.) She is so happy all the time (just like Cameron was as a baby.) But unlike Cameron she HATES anything other than her mommy's milk. I can't get her to take formula (it isn't a big deal but for emergency situations it would be nice if she would take it.) I have to fight with her to try to get her to eat any baby food and she makes the most awful faces!! She still not sleeping through the night.....I wake her around 10:30 pm and then she will sleep until about 5 am when I will feed her again and then she will go back to sleep until about 7. She is still totally a mommy's girl and is happiest when I am around and/or holding her and she is chewing on something. (She chews non-stop and has since she was 2 months!) She just started saying da-da and makes some really funny sounds with her mouth & lips. We just love her so much!!!

The smile is deceiving, she really hates the food!

And you can see its all over her mouth because as soon as it goes in,

she pushes it out with her tongue!

She loves to swing with Cameron

Graham's Graduation

On June 1st, my sister, Becky, Olivia and I flew to Ohio to celebrate my cousin Graham's graduation from high school. We had a GREAT time with my family which included my 3 aunts (Becky, Pam & Missy) 3 uncles (Greg, Jim & Max), Mimi (my grandmother), cousins (Graham & Gretchen) and of course my sister Becky. It was so nice to be able to spend time together. We spent the visit chatting, laughing and celebrating Graham's accomplishments (he was valedictorian of his class and recieved numerous scholarships and awards.) I was so happy to be there to celebrate with him & am so extremely proud of all he has accomplished! He is going to Miami University (Ohio) in the fall.

Memorial Day Camping

Over Memorial Day weekend we went camping at Lake in the Forest campground in the Ocala National Forest. It was our first time camping there and we had a really nice time. My sister Becky and her boyfriend Ryan even joined us camping for 2 of the 3 nights. It was really nice spending time with them.
The campground had a couple of fun activities for children and a big campfire and karoke on Saturday night. I think Charles and Cameron spent most of the weekend in the pool :)

They had a cute little playground and Cameron loved playing with the dump trucks

Racetrack Weekend

The weekend of May 14 Charles, Cameron, Olivia and I headed for Savannah, GA for the Roebling Road racetrack where Charles participated in a high performance driving school. This was Charles' seventh time going to the driving school but the first time that I went. We drove the 15 passenger van and pulled Charles' mobile chiropractic unit which his car was loaded in. The trip took a little over 4 hours and both kids did great! Cameron had a blast the whole weekend and I think he rode his bike almost the whole time!! He even broke the pedal on his bike in half (and kept right on riding of course! ) :)
We slept in the mobile unit which surprisingly worked out really well. It has a heat and AC unit and we took along the mattress from our spare bed so we were quite comfortable at night. I wasn't sure what I signed up for when I agreed to go to the event but I enjoyed myself and was glad to have family time together.

You can see in this photo that he is in his pajamas.....

he got on the bike as soon as he was out of bed!

We even brought Cameron's pool for him to play in

Gilcreast Visit

At the end of April my sister Heather and her family came from Oregon to visit us. They stayed with us for a little over 2 weeks. Boy was it a full house but we had a great time with them! My sister now has 3 boys, Jackson (3 1/2), Emmett (2) and Reid (who was 2 months at the time.) I was worried about how the boys would play together but they got along great and had such a fun time together. It makes me so sad that they live so far away but I am thankful for the time they take to visit us.

Here's one of only 3 pictures that I took of Cameron and Olivia's first trip to SeaWorld. I was disappointed that I didn't take more pictures. We took Charles' 15 passenger van loaded with our family along with my sisters family and my mom. We weren't sure how all the kids would hold up at the park, especially in the heat but everyone did really good and the kids seemed to enjoy it. Cameron's favorite part was of course the splash area but he also really liked the stingrays. I didn't take any photos of Olivia but she did really good sitting and napping in the stroller.

Here's two photos of Cameron playing in the splash area of the park.

Jackson and Emmett always take a bath together and Cameron wanted to join them a few times :) Cameron really enjoyed spending time with them!!!
