June Trip to the Cabin

Over Fathers Day weekend we took a trip to the cabin with our friends Rob & Adrienne Ziebart and their two children Evan & Lauren and also Charles' brother Robert who drove down from Ohio. We had a wonderful trip & enjoyed some really nice family time together.

We spent one day tubing down the Toccoa River in Blue Ridge. The weather was absolutely perfect & there was only two other people tubing so it made for a perfect day. Charles, Olivia and I actually took the kayak down the river while Cameron was in a tub attached to Robert. It was pretty easy in the kayak besides the time we got stuck on some rocks going over a small rapid. Poor Olivia got so scared! She enjoys the tubing but does not like going over any rapids at all. Oh & Charles saved the day by rescuing a duck in the river who was caught by a fishing hook!
Here's a picture of us getting ready to start

Anytime we are at the cabin Cameron always loves to chop wood. This time Evan joined him and even Olivia did a little (with some help of course!)

Family dinner (eating some delicious food cooked over the fire!)

Fun with sparklers
Petting a baby bunny that Charles caught in the yard. It ran right out from a hole that was right by his foot! We all chased it around the yard before Charles caught it. The kids sure thought that was neat, lol! This trip was sure fun with animals, Robert saved a small turtle from the road and all the kids took turns holding it.

We all went horseback riding the day before we left. This was our second time riding at this stable & I think Olivia and I got the same horse, lol! We enjoyed riding with the Ziebarts this time.

June Panama City Beach Trip

As soon as school ended the kids and I took a trip up to Panama City to visit my sister & the kiddos while Phil was out of town. We spent four days riding bikes, swimming, playing water balloons and taking a few trips to the beach. The kids had a great time playing together and I enjoyed spending time with Heather.

Look mom, I can pick up baby Davis! Lol!

Walking to the community pool. Olivia loved pulling Davis in the wagon.

Playing in their secret fort in the woods :)

Cameron & Olivia always enjoy attending the boys' gymnastics class when we visit

Enjoying the sprinklers in the yard

Playing with water balloons with the neighbor boys

Loved going to the beach in the evenings!

This picture was too funny not to post. We were just getting ready to leave and Davis fell face first in the sand. We were all laughing so hard because he looked so cute & funny with sand all over his face!

End of School Water Day

St. Paul's has a water day for the kids during the last week of school. They set up a big slip-n-slide, sprinklers, little kiddie pools and fun stations with shaving cream and a water table. The day always ends with popsicles. Olivia got lucky & got to go two water days, one for her class & one with Cameron.

Last Day of School

Here are some pics from the last day of preschool for the kiddos. You can't end school without a party!
There's a baby in my belly, lol!
One of Olivia's teachers, Mrs. Michelle
Cameron's teacher gave all the students the book "the night before kindergarten" and each student got a silly award. Cameron's award was for using the most paper towels in the bathroom. The teacher would always tell them to only use 2 paper towels & Cameron would come out & joke that he used 99 or some other large amount, lol
We love Mrs. Mary Jane!
Right before school ended they had a ground breaking ceremony for the new building that's being built over the summer. All the kids got to scoop some dirt.
