Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and were so blessed to be able to spend it with our families. Our day started out very early, with us leaving our house at 7:15 AM to drive to my parents house. We opened up presents there and ate breakfast and then headed to Charles' sister, Linda's, house where we opened more presents, visited with family and ate lunch. Cameron had a blast opening up presents; we had to watch him to make sure he didn't open those that weren't his because he wanted to open them all! After lunch we headed to Jacksonville to my Aunt and Uncles house where we ended the day with a big yummy dinner. We had a nice time visiting with my aunt, uncle, two cousins (& their spouses) and my mimi and papap. My parents and sister also made the trip to Jacksonville. We are so lucky to be able to spend the holidays with family. We finally made it back home around 9 PM; it was a long day but worth every minute!

How Olivia spent most of the day.... Here she is with one of her presents, a doll

Cameron with his Max and Ruby toys. (Max and Ruby is a kids show that he loves.)

Wearing his tiger slippers. (He loves to run around the house & stomp on things when he is wearing them.)

Cameron's big gift from us was a kitchen, which he LOVES!

Ambrose Family Photos

Back in November, my sister Heather, brother-in-law Phil and my two nephews Jackson and Emmett came from Oregon to visit us. They stayed with my parents for a week and with us for a little over a week. We had such a wonderful time with them. It was so nice to have them here and for them to meet Olivia. They were able to help me so much with Olivia and Cameron which was greatly appreciated since I was still recovering from my c-section. They were even nice enough to take Cameron to the park and to a petting zoo with their boys. Of course it wasn't until after they left that I realized I hadn't taken any pictures of them while they were here. But if you are interested in photos, my sister does a great job with her blog and has photos posted there. Her blog is http://www.pheathersphamily.blogspot.com/2010/12/florida-trip.html
We were able to get a few photos of the entire Ambrose family which I've posted below.......

Various Happenings

Here's a few photos of the things we have been up to.......
This photo of Olivia was taken when she was about 4 weeks old. She is now 2 months. Time flys!

Olivia and I in front of our Christmas tree.

Cameron being silly wearing my boots

Cameron got this tricycle for his 2nd birthday and just learned how to ride it (using the pedals) a few weeks ago. He loves to ride it all over the house

Cameron's new favorite thing to do is help in the kitchen. Anytime I am in the kitchen (even just to get a drink!) Cameron runs over to pull up a chair to help. Here he is after we finished making Christmas cookies. (As you can see, he liked sampling the food as we made it!)

Showing off his hard work

He loves to help with Olivia, especially with giving her a bath. Although most of the time he ends up getting more water on himself rather than her!

Newborn Photos

A few weeks after Olivia was born my friend Debbie came over to take family photos for us. Olivia was such a trooper, she slept just about the whole time and was even patient enough to let us change her outfit two or three times! I was really happy with how the photos turned out.
