Thanksgiving 2013

Feast and Sing at St. Paul's Christian School. Cameron and Olivia were both Indians. I love watching them sing!

Thanksgiving Day started off with Charles' two sisters, Terri and Connie, Terri's daughter Amanda and her two children driving down through the night from West Virginia and arriving at our house about 6:30am. They came down as a surprise to visit Charles and his other sisters. It was nice to have them visit with us for the holiday. After spending a few hours in the morning at Charles' sister Linda's house we then went to my parents house to spend some time with my family. It was a great day spending time with both of our families!

Had to post this picture of Charles in a Gators shirt! He was going to the Gator basketball game with Linda, Jeff and Terri

More of Olivia & Davis- she won't let him out of her sight!

November trip to Cabin

We took a trip to the cabin in early November & the trees were in full color, so beautiful! We took advantage of the colorful fall leaves and took family pictures which turned out great! This trip also included us taking the kids on their first horseback trail ride through the woods. It was an hour long trail ride through the woods with a guide. They both seemed to enjoy it & I definitely did. Definitely something we will do again!

Enjoying lunch at the Chophouse in downtown Murphy for Olivia's birthday

Some family photos- this one is with us at the top of our development. Love the beautiful scenery!
Standing on the road into our development. The first drive to the left is our driveway.

Taking a hike in a park in Blairsville, Ga

Playground fun at the park

Had to include a picture of Mickey who always makes trips to the cabin with us. He loves it!
Snow is not necessary for sledding at the cabin :)

The kids made a little spot in the woods & called it their house. They had fun playing in their house.
Trail riding (Olivia with me & Cameron with Charles.)

They had bunnies for the kids to play with at the barn. They loved holding them & chasing them around.

Olivia turns 3!

Our sweet little girl turned 3 on November 2nd. She celebrated at school on Friday, Nov. 1st and then that afternoon we drove to the cabin for a short trip. We had a nice birthday lunch out on Saturday followed by a cookie cake & a few presents back at the cabin. The following weekend, Nov. 8, we had a ballerina birthday party at our house with a few of Olivia's friends.
As Olivia turns 3 she loves to keep up with her brother (and is often braver than he is!) She enjoys her gymnastics and ballet classes and playing with her dolls. I lay down with her every night and read & sing to her. She tells me "mommy, can you sing to me? It makes me happy" and that just melts my heart! Although she loves her daddy, she's still definitely a mommy's girl, I can't go many places without her! She is such a blessing to us!

Birthday cupcakes at school

Opening presents at the cabin. Cameron is being sweet because he wants to help open her presents, lol!

Decorations for the ballerina party :)

The stare-down on the cake, lol. You can see Cameron in his Captain America costume. He said that since all the girls would be in their ballerina costumes he wanted to dress up too! :)

I had a ballerina come to the party to do a little dance for the girls & do some dancing with them. Olivia wasn't much interested in dancing with her but some of the other little girls did.

Dancing with her daddy :)
Yummy lunch of mini sandwiches, fruit, cheese and crackers and of course pink lemonade
Cake time! I loved her ballerina cake
Make a wish!
