4th of July trip

Over the 4th of July weekend we took an 8-hour drive to Blairsville, Georgia which is right on the Georgia/North Carolina border about 2 hours north of Atlanta. We were offered a free stay at a cabin that was being offered for sale by a man who lived in Ocala. We did a lot of sightseeing and were even able to visit my friend Kelli & her family since she was visiting her parents who lived about a half hour from where we were staying.
While we were up there we did a little house hunting & put an offer (which was accepted!) on a house just outside of Murphy, NC. Its a new house in a new development & we fell in love with it! We got it at a great price & hope to be able to make some money renting it out. I'm looking forward to spending some time there in the fall & winter months!! :) Very exciting!!
