Cameron's 6th Birthday!

We celebrated Cameron's 6th birthday with an early camping trip to Disney's Fort Wilderness, which was Cameron's decision. We met friends for dinner one night at the T-Rex Cafe and spent time walking around Downtown Disney. Since Cameron's actual birthday was on a school day I rented a bounce house water slide and invited a few of his friends over after school. The slide was a huge hit & the kids had a blast. We had a nice family dinner for him that night complete with a camouflage birthday cake!
As Cameron turns 6 he still loves to do work, or any project with Charles. He is getting to be an excellent mountain bike rider & has just started riding an adult sized bike on the trails! I am so impressed with what he can do. He is still very reserved at school & other places but you would never guess that seeing him at home, lol! He loves to play in the backyard with all his diggers & dump trucks.

One of his birthday cards came with stickers & he put them all over himself, lol
You can see him holding my hair- he still loves to hold & smell it :) So funny how my hair is like his security blanket

Back to School

Cameron started Kindergarten at a small Christan private school, Ambleside, on August 18. It was a little bit of a rough morning with him getting upset and crying when it was time to get dressed but he calmed down on the way to school and at the end of the day he said he enjoyed his day at school! We are so blessed to be able to give our children a Christian based education.

Reading the night before Kindergarten the night before Kindergarten, lol
Sweet letter from Cameron's teacher
This is the best "first day" photo I could get, taken as he was walking into class. Notice his red puffy eyes :(
Retake of first day photo on the 2nd day of school. He was much happier!
They have morning assembly each morning which consists of singing a hymn, saying the pledge and finishing with prayer.

Thursdays are chapel day at school. They have to wear their Oxford shirts and khakis. Can't get over how grown up he looks! Here he is with his chapel buddy, Tanner. Tanner is the son of a good friend of mine and Cameron was so happy to have Tanner as his buddy :)

Olivia at her meet the teacher day

Here's Olivia on her first day of school, which was the following week. She was excited to start school again!
