Olivia turns 3!

Our sweet little girl turned 3 on November 2nd. She celebrated at school on Friday, Nov. 1st and then that afternoon we drove to the cabin for a short trip. We had a nice birthday lunch out on Saturday followed by a cookie cake & a few presents back at the cabin. The following weekend, Nov. 8, we had a ballerina birthday party at our house with a few of Olivia's friends.
As Olivia turns 3 she loves to keep up with her brother (and is often braver than he is!) She enjoys her gymnastics and ballet classes and playing with her dolls. I lay down with her every night and read & sing to her. She tells me "mommy, can you sing to me? It makes me happy" and that just melts my heart! Although she loves her daddy, she's still definitely a mommy's girl, I can't go many places without her! She is such a blessing to us!

Birthday cupcakes at school

Opening presents at the cabin. Cameron is being sweet because he wants to help open her presents, lol!

A ballerina doll!
A new puzzle
Birthday lunch at the Chophouse in downtown Murphy
Yummy cookie cake

Decorations for the ballerina party :)

The stare-down on the cake, lol. You can see Cameron in his Captain America costume. He said that since all the girls would be in their ballerina costumes he wanted to dress up too! :)

I had a ballerina come to the party to do a little dance for the girls & do some dancing with them. Olivia wasn't much interested in dancing with her but some of the other little girls did.

Dancing with her daddy :)
Yummy lunch of mini sandwiches, fruit, cheese and crackers and of course pink lemonade
Cake time! I loved her ballerina cake
Make a wish!

More October Events

Visiting Uncle Donalds farm, a petting zoo farm in Lady Lake. They had lots of different animals & the kids were able to pet & feed most of them. They had a great time.

Bags of corn to feed the animals
Feeding the cows on the hayride

Milking a goat!

The baby goat was adorable & they had a bottle of milk for the kids to feed her
The kids loved feeding the deer
So cute!
Love playing in the haymaze, we had to play 3 or 4 rounds of hide and seek :)

Another favorite event of ours in October is Jeeptoberfest, a huge event where Jeeps of all makes & models go through various courses & obstacles. So neat to watch!
Here's Cameron watching the jeeps go thru one of the courses

Here's a jeep going across the more challenging course

And the big highlight of the event was that Charles & Cameron got to ride in a friends jeep across the course. Cameron was thrilled!
Going through the mud (I love that you can just see the top of Cameron's head :)

Some photos of the kids having fun at the annual Blessed Trinity carnival
Olivia's favorite, the carousel

Halloween 2013

For Halloween this year Cameron was Captain America and Olivia was a ballerina. They had fun dressing up at school & trick or treating in the neighborhood.

Here's Olivia dressed up for her ballet class
Halloween parties at school with yummy treats!

Silly Cameron!

St. Paul's annual Halloween parade and sing- always so cute!

The kids got a special treat of a hayride at school
My favorite photo!
Trick or Treating photos

We met up with our neighbors who have a 1 year old daughter, Meryl, who Olivia loves. You will notice Charles is pulling an empty wagon because Olivia wanted to ride with Meryl.
This is not a Halloween photo but I wanted to post because Cameron looked so tough as a cowboy (also wanted to note that he wanted to listen to cowboy music so John Wayne western music is playing in the background of this photo :)
