Start of summer 2013

Here's some pictures from late May/early June:

Cameron & Olivia at a friends birthday party. Girls were princesses & boys were knights.
Cameron had fun pretend sword fighting with the other boys

Playing pin the lips on the frog
Cameron is still my little helper around the house- he really is a hard worker. Here's Cameron & Olivia washing dishes; he only did that for about two days before he told me he didn't want to wash anymore because that's too much work, lol!
Olivia loves to ride her bike like Cameron
Being silly!
Our first trip of the summer was a weekend camping trip to Disneys Fort Wilderness campground. This was our third time camping there, the kids love it. This time we rented a golf cart to take with us which was a lot of fun.

Lunch at the T-Rex cafe in Downtown Disney
Lego races at the Lego store in Downtown Disney
Just finished eating some yummy ice cream :)
Yeah for Olivia letting me put bows in her hair, she looks so adorable! She's finally getting a little better about me doing her hair.
Can't get over how big she looks in this photo!

End of school year

Cameron's school did a performance for the end of school. His class sang nursery rhymes & Cameron was the clock from hickory dickory dock. He did a great job doing his part, it was so cute!

What a cutie :)

Ginty and Gilcreasts May trip to Ocala

My sister Becky & brother in law Ryan flew down from Iowa to visit us during the middle of May. My other sister Heather & her four boys also came down from Panama City to visit. This was my first time meeting the newest Gilcreast, Davis, who was two months old. I just love having all my family together & watching all the cousins play, I wish we all lived closer!

Ryan playing with Cameron

Becky, Ryan and I took Cameron & Olivia to the beach for a few hours one morning. As you can see Olivia doesn't even have her swim suit on as she wanted nothing to do with the water (she does not like the beach!) Ryan was nice enough to take Cameron out in the deep water so I could stay with Olivia.

Olivia waiting for Becky & Ryan to get up, lol!
Olivia absolutely loves baby Davis! She was such a little mommy to him, it was so sweet! Oh, and notice her pigtails (this is only the 2nd time she let me put her hair up & it lasted all of about 10 minutes.) She's also wearing a dress made by Charles' mom.
The older boys loved playing on the slip-n-slide I set up in the backyard. And bonus for them they found some worms in the wet grass. So exciting, lol!

Olivia brought her books out & pretended to read them to Davis
They loved holding Davis :)

Olivia and Reid, so sweet together (most of the time, haha)
Being silly in the pool at my parents house. I can't believe this was the only photo I have of pool time because they spent almost all weekend swimming!

Jacksonville weekend

In the middle of May, Charles, the kids and I went to Jacksonville for the weekend. My cousin Dawn was having her baby shower & we decided to make a weekend of it by staying with my Aunt Pam and Uncle Jim. We drove up Saturday morning just in time for the shower which was held at Dawn's best friend Olivia's mothers house. (Did you follow that?)  Charles stayed with the kids and he and Uncle Jim took them swimming at my aunt & uncles community pool. The shower was decorated beautifully & the food was delicious. I really enjoyed myself & time with my mom & grandmother who also drove up. It was such a special time to celebrate Dawn and baby Oliver who will be such a blessing to the family. After the shower I got a special treat of being able go shopping with my Aunt Pam and spend some time with her which I don't often get to do. We spent Sunday at Shaun & Dawn's house swimming and then took the kids to the park before saying goodbye to Aunt Pam & Uncle Jim. We all had a great time & wonder why we don't make the trip to Jacksonville more often!

Food table at the shower- I loved the huge hydrangeas!
Look at that cake! Made by Olivia's mother.

Easter 2013

We had a busy Easter with family visiting, Easter parties at school and Mops and hosting Easter dinner at our house. Here are some photos from the different activities.

My moms group, Mops, held an Easter egg hunt at the home of one of our members. Cameron and Olivia had a great time running around gathering eggs.

Baskets full of eggs, good job!
Easter party in Cameron's classroom which included snacks, creating bunny masks, songs and another egg hunt.

So cute wearing their masks!
Ready for Easter service at church (boots were ok but the hat stayed in the car, lol!)
Family photo before Easter service

After the Easter bunny came. Mickey is hoping there is a basket for him. Sorry Mickey!
Chocolate!
